Growing up surrounded by makers and dreamers, I witnessed the strong hands of the women in my family who brought their skills from abroad to establish a family clothing manufacturing business. Observing my aunts founding of a company that they managed and grew by producing high quality luxury products for brands like Cache and Tail Sportswear. I learned the significance of local production, community support, treating employees like family, and a relentless pursuit of quality and exceptional customer service.

After exploring various business-oriented careers, the call to create became undeniable. This journey led me to a career in Interior Design, culminating in a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in Interior Design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. My time in NYC were spent in an immersion in the arts, design, fashion, and culture, sparked numerous artistic and creative ideas that have become a driving force behind Couch Sugar.
